We are proud to be part of the new research team for Breast cancer Research for Innovation Toward Equity (BRITE) Center at Penn Medicine. This is to bridge the gap between evidence-based innovation and equity centered implementation to promote optimal management and improved outcomes among Black and Hispanic people with breast cancer. The BRITE Center will be led by Principal Investigator (PI) Oluwadamilola, Angela DeMichele, MD, MSCE“Lola” Fayanju, MD, MD, MPHS, Christine Edmonds, MD, Assistant Professor of Radiology, Carmen Guerra, MD, MSCE, the Ruth C. and Raymond G. Perelman Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of Diversity and Outreach, Anne Marie McCarthy, PhD, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology.
