Our mission is to bridge the gap between underserved cancer patients and their healthcare providers; and to encourage inclusive clinical trials and other cancer research. This will be achieved through advocacy, education, and support for the breast cancer community.

Trials Of Color

Fighting Cancer Together, With Strength and Hope

We empower communities of color with education, support, and resources to prevent and fight cancer. Together, we’re rewriting the story of survival.

OUR PROGRAMS

We provide Education, Awareness & Giveback to the communities

We connect patients to clinical trials, raise colon cancer awareness, and empower breast cancer survivors—bringing education, access, and hope to our communities.

A Clinical Trial is a research program conducted with patients to evaluate new medical treatments or drugs. The purpose of clinical trials for breast cancer is to find new and improved methods of diagnosing, treating, preventing, and screening for this disease.

Beyond treatment, the journey of survivorship presents new challenges. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive support, education, and resources to empower breast cancer survivors—helping them navigate the physical, emotional, and practical aspects of life after cancer, and ultimately thrive.

The colon is the end part of the digestive tract. Cancer which begins in the colon or large intestine of the digestive tract is called Colon Cancer. Though, such type of cancer occur at any age but it is typically affected to older adult. Early detection leads to better outcomes.

About Trials Of Color

Black Americans make up 5% of the participants in clinical trials for cancer drugs

People of color are significantly underrepresented in clinical trials, often making up less than 10% of participants, even when they bear a disproportionate burden of diseases like breast and colon cancer.

We work to close this and other health equity gaps by empowering communities with the information and resources needed to participate in research that can lead to more effective treatments for all.

Mission

End The Disparity In Cancer Community
Trials Of Color advocates on behalf of African American and other underserved minority communities that have resource-deprived cancer survivors. The sole reason behind this initiative is that many minority communities are not sufficiently represented in critical clinical trials, and do not have equal access to quality care..

Vision

Access to Quality Cancer Care for Everyone
Until we achieve our Vision, we will do public speaking, education and advocacy on behalf of all cancer patients.
